Rimini is an Italian dynamic, open, easily accessible and technological “plug & play” city, located on the Northeastern coast facing the Adriatic sea that counts nearly 150.000 inhabitants.

Founded by the Romans in 268 B.C., Rimini has been the scene of many disputes in its two-thousand year history. Significant traces of the city's past remain today: the Arch of Augustus (27 B.C.), the Tiberius bridge (21 A.D.), the Roman Amphitheatre (2 A.D.), and the Malatesta Temple, one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture anywhere in Italy. Today, the old town is full of charm and vitality. Not to be missed is a visit to Domus, an archaeological excavation site of a Roman Surgeon’s House, inaugurated in 2007.

You’ll find wine cellars, pubs, little restaurants, tables outside and candlelight where to enjoy a pleasant time in the area around the OLD FISH MARKET, in the heart of the historic center of town, named the Montmartre of Rimini. >> REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO The Repubblica di San Marino is located few kilometers from Rimini, excellent location for cultural tours. Piazza Tre Martiri marks the position of the ancient Roman forum at the intersection of the Decumanus Maxima and the Cardo Romano. The forum was the center of civic life for the Latin-speaking citizens of Rimini. Arch of Augustus of all the surviving ancient Roman triumphal arches it is the oldest; the ruins of the Amphitheatre, the church of st. Augustine One of the pearls of the city’s historic center. It is worth a visit to admire the frescos decorating the apse and the bell tower chapel;
>> CINEMA AND FEDERICO FELLINI: Rimini also has ties with the cinema since it is representative of Federico Fellini’s world of fantasy. Hollywood awarded this film director (born in Rimini on 20th January 1920) 5 Oscars and in his famous films, his past life in Rimini recurs again and again. Even if the Maestro is no longer in life, he died on 31st October 1993, Rimini continues to celebrate his work. La Dolce Vita (1960), 8½ (Otto e Mezzo, 1963), Amarcord(1974) just to mention a few of his masterpieces.
>> BEACH LIFE and WELLNESS: a resort town with a mild climate, on the coast and offering lots of parks and gardens; Rimini is the ideal destination for body and soul.There are more than two hundred beach establishments, the philosophy is that life on the beach goes on day and night.
